Toulah Fest is a free event on Sunday 24th August raising money for Cowden Village Hall. We are proud to be hosting a fantastic lineup for this year's festival. Here are the musicians and a bit about them
The Colas
The Colas are a lively 5 piece band who formed while band mates Toulah, Theo and Jude were studying at The BRIT School a few years back. They are not your typical pub covers band. Front man Jude has trained professionally in musical theatre and puts on an unforgettable show. The Colas will be closing the festival with an hour of non stop anthems everyone can sing along to!
JANAYAH
JANAYAH is a powerhouse singer songwriter originally from New Zealand where she found her love for the arts. JANAYAH moved to the UK in 2022 to further her career. She studied music at The BRIT School and was then scouted by Mastercard x Ones To Watch where JANAYAH had the opportunity to perform and network in London, Germany and America. Her music is a reflection of her lived experiences. JANAYAH will be performing with her band this year at Toulah Fest so watch this space!
Anna Howie
Anna Howie is a country artist from East London known for her soulful voice, sharp wit and heartfelt song writing. Her debut EP 'An Idiot's Guide to Love' reached number 5 in the UK country charts, followed by two albums with Sony/Universal. Anna has recently completed her first UK headline tour and in the past has performed live with Brian May and supported acts such as Gabrielle and Scouting For Girls
Scarlett Rosetta
Scarlett Rosetta carries the essence of the Southern seaside with her, taking her guitar to share the folklore behind her citrus curls and 60's inspiration. Scarlett has performed at many venues in South and is currently residing in Liverpool. Scarlett Rosetta stands our with her vintage feel, timeless voice and electric wardrobe
Wednesday's Child
Wednesday's Child (AKA He's not my Dad) is a duo consisting of Dave (guitar and percussion) and Nicola (vocals). Together for two years, their repertoire spans folk, blues, pop and light jazz.
Mick Dalton
Mick is no stranger to The Fountain open mic nights and he will be making his Toulah Fest debut this year. With a wide range of repertoire covering all of the blues, soul and motown songs you know and love
Nora
We are delighted to have Nora kick Toulah Fest off with classic jazz music. Nora has an infectious smile and joyful energy which will put everyone in high spirits
