The Fountain is a cozy traditional pub, located in the heart of the picturesque village of Cowden, on the Kent side of the Sussex/Kent border.

There has been a pub on this site since time immemorial, with parts of the building dating back to Tudor times.

Fern and Nigel are excited to have taken over the pub and shall be offering freshly cooked food from the 19th August 2023.

Offering Harvey's fine ales and a good selection of wines, spirits and soft drinks.

On draft we offer a selection of three of Harvey's finest ales. Sussex best, IPA and a rotating seasonal option

We offer a precise selection of standard and premium lagers including Fosters, Birra Moretti and Harvey's Pilsner

On offer we have a wide range of hand selected White and Red wines to complement your meal or just for an enjoyable visit
